Welcome to the forum ꧁༺TEEN LOUNGE FORUM AND DISCORD CHAT ROOM ༻꧂
T͏e͏e͏n͏ L͏o͏u͏n͏g͏e͏ i͏s͏ a safe, fun, moderated, youth operated Forum and chat room. We have weekly trivia and Uno game nights on Saturday. Teen Lounge is open to all youth, and parents are welcome.
Subject: Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade Sat Jun 25, 2022 5:54 pm
After the Supreme Court overturned Roe vs Wade, declaring the constitutional right to abortion, upheld for nearly a half century, no longer exists. Missouri who has a Republican Governor and Attorney General banned abortion in that State. Even though it is left up to the individual States, I think some of them that are Republican controlled with ban abortion.
Right now Illinois has a Democratic Governor, but there is a good chance Illinois in the election will get a new Republican Governor. That may not make a difference because both the Senate and the House in Illinois are Democratic controlled.
It will be interesting to see how many States now ban abortion.
